Role Overview

You will help grow Xunova's presence online, primarily on LinkedIn, by turning our technical work into content people actually stop to read. This is a hands-on role: you will write, edit and publish content, track what's landing and what isn't, and use modern AI tools to move faster without losing quality. You don't need to be a data scientist, but you need to be comfortable reading about AI and data engineering work and translating it into something a wider audience finds genuinely interesting. If you want to learn how a technical consulting brand gets built in public, this role is built for you. This is a paid, remote internship, with a potential opportunity to transition into a full-time role based on performance and business needs — though this is not guaranteed.

What You Will Do

  • Write and publish LinkedIn content that grows Xunova's reach and engagement, including posts, carousels and short write-ups
  • Turn technical work (case studies, project outcomes, engineering learnings) into content a non-technical audience can follow
  • Use modern AI tools to draft, edit and repurpose content faster, without losing accuracy or voice
  • Track impressions, engagement and follower growth, and adjust content strategy based on what's working
  • Maintain a content calendar and keep a steady publishing cadence across the month
  • Support the design and formatting of visual content alongside written posts
  • Research industry trends in AI and data engineering to keep content relevant and timely

Technical Skills

  • Technical Content Writing: Comfortable reading about AI, data engineering or data science work and rewriting it clearly for a LinkedIn audience.
  • AI Tools for Content: Practical use of modern AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude or equivalent) to draft, edit and repurpose content efficiently and at scale.
  • LinkedIn & Social Growth: Understanding of what drives impressions and engagement on LinkedIn specifically, not social media in general.
  • Editing & Voice: Ability to edit AI-drafted or technical content down to something sharp, accurate and on-brand.
  • Analytics & Iteration: Comfortable tracking basic content metrics (impressions, engagement, follower growth) and adjusting based on results.
  • Design Basics: Basic comfort with visual tools (Canva or equivalent) to support written content with simple graphics or carousels.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism or a related field
  • A portfolio or writing samples that show you can explain something technical clearly, even without a professional writing background
  • Genuine interest in AI and technology, enough to read about it without being told to
  • Comfortable using AI tools daily as part of a real workflow, not just occasionally

Good to Have

Not required, but a strong plus if your experience already includes any of the following.

  • An active, reasonably well-kept LinkedIn profile of your own
  • Prior experience running a blog, newsletter or social account, personal or otherwise
  • Basic design skills in Canva, Figma or similar
  • Interest in a full-time marketing career in a technology or consulting environment

Why Xunova

Remote-first, built on trust

A genuinely remote-first team, built around trust and ownership rather than hours logged.

Direct access to leadership

Direct exposure to client leadership from day one, with no layers between you and the work that matters.

Ownership that shapes the work

A high-growth environment where your judgment shapes how we work, not just what we deliver.

Colleagues who hold a high bar

A small, deliberately high-caliber team that takes the craft seriously and holds a high bar for each other.

How we hire

A straightforward, three-conversation process, no take-home busywork disconnected from the job.
